Asset Assessment
Condition Surveys
Structured condition assessments of geotechnical assets, informing maintenance decisions and managing long-term risk.
Know the Condition of Your Assets
Condition surveys provide a structured assessment of the current condition of geotechnical assets such as retaining walls, slopes, and existing foundations. Coast Geotechnical conducts condition surveys for municipalities, strata corporations, developers, and private owners across Western Canada, identifying deficiencies and recommending maintenance, repair, or further investigation. Our surveys are completed by experienced geotechnical engineers who can identify both visible deficiencies and underlying geotechnical issues.
The most common condition assessments we perform are for pre-purchase due diligence, where buyers need to understand the condition of geotechnical assets before acquiring a property, and for investigating cracking and settlement in existing structures.
We deliver practical reports that support capital planning, insurance requirements, and regulatory compliance.
